-a fun brother/sister pair
-a gorgeous and very photogenic senior
-a new family
-an adorable 2 year old girl
-a precious 2 week old baby boy

AND....I have had 2 girls contact me about doing their weddings next year!!!

I feel so blessed that I am able to do what I love....taking photos!!

Little Miss Tag-a-long....

Jenna has been tagging along with our neighbor girls since the day we moved in. At that time, she was 2 1/2 and they loved having her tag along so they could play babysitter. Now they are in 6th and 8th grade, and while I'm sure they don't always like having her tag along, they are so patient with her and always try to include her. I'm so glad she has some older girls to look up to.

Of course she had to tag along on Landrie's photo day....and of course she had to have some of her own photos taken. I honestly think Jenna and Landrie would have had me take photos of them all day if I would have agreed.

My absolute favorite photo of the day (and actually, my favorite photo of Jenna in a long time). It totally wasn't posed. She looked up at Karlyn and Landrie while they were talking and I just snapped away. Love, love, love the dreamy look - so very Jenna!

Landrie....

My neighbor's daughter has been begging to have a photo session of her very own....and she finally got the chance last Sunday. She was so much fun ...and the perfect model! It was fun taking photos of someone I know so well...there was no shyness and she was coming up with poses as fast as I was! I think her photos turned out great....and I'm hoping she loves them too! Thanks for being such a great model Landrie! We definitely need to take photos again sometime soon!

Chocolate chip cookie love....

Because I had to "take it easy" for three weeks and really wasn't able to do anything too active, my kids really didn't get much Mom time after my surgery. They were really helpful while I was recovering, but I felt bad that I wasn't able to actually be up and around doing things with them. Last weekend, I finally was starting to feel like myself again....so I had the kids help me make chocolate chip cookies. Jenna got to do the measuring and mixing....and Jacob scooped out the cookies and put them in the oven. ...and of course they both did their share of taste testing. I know making chocolate chip cookies is not a "photo worthy event" in most houses, but I had been missing my camera and decided that it was the perfect opportunity to take a few photos. The cookies were a big hit...and quickly disappeared...and I loved being able to spend some time with my kids just doing something simple.

Fall in Ohio....

Even though summer will always be my favorite season, fall is a close second. I love getting out all my sweaters and jeans again...cuddling up with blankets on the couch....turning on our fireplace....making all the comfort foods that I didn't make in the summer....eating caramel apples....the gorgeous colors....drinking hot drinks again....playing in the leaves...and of course taking photos!!! Happy Fall!

Gorgeous fall view at the park near our house...
...and just playing around with the photo to make it look more "artsy"....

ONE!!!

Today one of our very favorite little boys turns ONE!! I was able to be one of his very first visitors in the hospital and got pretty attached to him right away. It didn't take long for all four of us to fall in love with him through all the time we spent with him and his mama over the past year.

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY LONDON!!

We love you and miss you bunches (and your mommy, too)!!!

Cast your vote....

We are getting closer and closer to having the basement remodeling project done. Chris still has a lot of work to do - finish the ceiling, install the trim, paint doors, install my cabinets - but the end is in sight. Our furniture is all in as of today, but sadly still at the furniture store since we have no where to put it and the carpet is ordered.

We would like to hang 2-3 of my NYC photos in the basement once it's finished. The plan is to enlarge them BIG and then have them matted and framed so they look like art. I've chosen some of my favorites...but thought I'd ask for some input in narrowing it down to 2-3 . Which ones do you think would look best matted and framed??
