Melt my heart.......

Reason #5,724 that the Ametewee's need to move back to Ohio.....

London {18 months}

WARNING: This blog post contains an excessive amount of photos. I guess that's what happens when one of the cutest kids ever comes to visit!!

Peace, Love, and Gymnastics

Jenna had her annual tumbling meet on Saturday at Flip Tuck where she takes gymnastics. She did a great job on all 4 events (floor, beam, vault, and bars) and had so much fun doing it. Taking pictures in the gym isn't easy...but here are a few of my favorites. Her best friend Savannah also goes to Flip Tuck and is on the gymnastics team - you can see her in several of the photos with Jenna.

With her trophy and her AG doll (Savannah's mom made each of the girls leotards to match theirs!)
Tuck jump on the beam....

She has really improved and has even been asked to be on the gymnastics team next year (which means she would practice more during the week and have several meets throughout the year). She is going to try team for the summer and then has some big decisions to make for fall.....dance competition or gymnastics team???

Gracie-Belle {7 weeks old}

Meet Miss Annabelle Grace ....also known as Gracie-Belle. This sweet little baby girl (whose mom just happens to be my very best friend) was born on Valentine's Day ....and it has been killing me not to be able to see her and take lots of photos. I was so, so excited to finally meet her last week when they came back to Ohio for a short visit. The weather cooperated and I found the perfect setting for my first photo session with baby Annabelle. I am in love with how they turned out and am so excited for her mama to see them!!

Jacob and Jenna were pretty excited to meet baby A too.....

A quick peek....

Guess who came to visit last week???

We only got to spend a few quick hours together during their visit....which was definitely not enough (especially since we hadn't seen each other since Thanksgiving!!). But I'm so thankful we were at least able to squeeze in the time that we did....especially since we finally got to meet Miss Annabelle Grace!! We did a quick photo shoot and then ate dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant.

I also found time to squeeze in a little London lovin'.....

I have TONS of photos to edit from our very fun photo session....but here's just one quick sneek peak of their new little family of FOUR!

THANKS for making time for us during your visit! Love and miss you lots!!!

Charley {6 months old}

Charley's mom asked me to come to their home and take Charley's 6 month photos. 6 months is one of my favorite ages to photograph so I was excited to meet Charley and take his photo. He was getting over RSV and ear infections, but he was a trooper. He was such a happy little guy and all bright eyed the whole time!

Definitely my favorite.....

Spring fever.....

We are absolutely LOVING the gorgeous spring weather. I enjoy the beautiful colors of fall and a pretty snowfall....but I am definitely a warm weather girl. I'm just happier and more laid back when the sun is shining, the windows are open, flip flops on my feet....and of course everything turning green and blooming again!!

A little more Easter.....

We spent Easter afternoon at Chris' parents' house with his extended family (minus his cousin Lauren in Florida!). We spent the evening watching the "boys" play HORSE, riding bikes (Jacob and Jenna got new bikes last week since they both had outgrown their old ones), visiting and chatting, eating yummy Easter dinner, having an Easter egg hunt for the kids, playing croquet, and just relaxing and catching up. It was so nice to have such beautiful weather so we could enjoy so much time outside!

Easter

I let Jenna pick out our egg dying kit this year and she chose a kit where you could make marble looking eggs. The kids had a lot of fun with it...and the eggs turned out really neat!

Jacob ready to decorate his egg (he looks so old to me here!!)....
Jenna's favorite....
We went to church Easter morning as usual. For the past couple months we have been looking for a new church, so this was the first Easter Sunday in forever that we haven't either been at our regular church or at my parent's church. It felt weird to be driving somewhere else...but the service was awesome. All week we have been quoting the pastor...."Jesus is alive....Heck yeah!!".
I forewarned my family that we would be taking photos right after church and that they would participate without complaining. It is usually cold or rainy or even snowy on Easter Sunday, but this year was perfect! We stopped at Central to snap a few photos on our way home. This was the first photo I snapped. I'm sure it looks like they are sharing a touching brother/sister moment....but actually they were laughing because Jacob "tooted" (as Jenna says) right when I went to take the photo. I love how it turned out though... It's so them!

My little girl...always willing to pose for me...

And Jacob...who's not so willing to pose for me, but still will do it once in a while - especially if I make him feel guilty. :)
