Austin & Leslie | Van Wert, OH engagement photography

Austin and Leslie are getting married in late September.  Leslie really wanted engagement photos done in the snow, but this past winter just would not cooperate, so we went ahead and set a time for engagement photos in February.  We didn't end up with snow....but thankfully the weather was extra cooperative and warmer than usual!  I loved the old barn Leslie had picked out for us to use....and later we went to use an old shed on her grandparent's property....LOVED it!

I'm so excited for Austin & Leslie's wedding in September.  It will be so fun....and they happen to have chosen the cutest little girl as their flower girl....my daughter, Jenna!

Charlie & Meghan | engagement

Charlie and Meghan met me in Delphos on a beautiful fall weekend to do their engagement photos. Meghan had some ideas for locations and I was excited because I hadn't shot at either of them. Charlie and Meghan were so sweet together and I loved getting to know them better. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next fall!!

David & Kelly | Engaged!!

Within a weeks time, two of my cousins got engaged. Kyle was the ringbearer in our wedding and he got engaged to Emily (see post below). Kelly was the flower girl in our wedding and she got engaged to David. It was so fun to get the news from both of them.....and I was really excited when they both asked me to do engagement photos for them. Even more fun is that their weddings are going to be a day apart - June 22 and June 23, 2012!!! It will be a wedding filled weekend!!!

I met Kelly and Dave in Ottawa last week for some engagement photos. We started off in my Uncle's backyard, then headed to Dave's house, and then started our tour of Putnam County....stopping at all the awesome places Kelly had picked out!!

CONGRATULATIONS Kelly & Dave! I can't wait to photograph your wedding!! And Dave....you can ask to look at the photos I shoot at your wedding anytime. I don't mind. :)

My favorite photo.....it doesn't get much better than hay bales, cowboy boots, and sunflare!

Lola - Kelly's dog - even made a few appearances in photos. It's hard to see, but she even had on a matching Detroit Tigers jersey!

LOVE this one! I would want it printed HUGE for my house!! Kelly has had this particular spot picked out for photos for a long, long time!

My Uncle Tony even got into picking out photo spots - He told us we had to use this awesome tree on the golf course.

Kyle & Emily | Engaged!!

My cousin Kyle (who happened to be the ring bearer in our wedding!) recently got engaged to Emily. I had the honor of taking some engagement photos of them in Huron, where his parents live. Emily had scoped out some photo spots the day before and I loved what she had found - especially the old factory!! I'm so excited for the two of them (even though it does make me feel very old to have my youngest cousin engaged) and know they are going to be very happy together!!

CONGRATULATIONS Kyle & Emily!!!

Cheryl + Nathan = lots of love...and lots of photos!

Last week I met Cheryl, Nathan , and of course London in Paulding to take engagement photos. Cheryl had the brilliant idea to take photos at the carnival on the square. The bright colors were the perfect backdrop for Cheryl photos - she is truly one of the most colorful people I know! The carnival didn't open until later in the afternoon, so we had the whole area to ourselves. Cheryl even asked one of the carnies if they could sit on the ferris wheel for a few photos. I was shooting double - using both my camera and Cheryl's (which I totally covet!) and I was so excited with how the photos turned out!

Cheryl and Nathan- thank you so much for letting me capture photos of your new little family. I can't wait for July 11th!

These next two are my absolute favorites of the day! We were so excited about the "No Single Riders" sign on the ferris wheel and had to use it in a few photos!!
