Jacob....YOU ROCK!!
If you had a tax refund, what would you spend it on? Well, like most sensible families, we decided to spend a portion of our refund on.....a GUITAR HERO game for Jacob's PS2. Seriously! We have played the game several times during the past couple months and have had a lot of fun with it (Okay..I'll admit it...I am probably the one who wanted it the most, but Jacob was a close second!). Last night it was actually in stock at Target and we bought it. Jacob and I have had a blast playing it...and Chris joined in the action this afternoon. It really is quite addicting and I'm finding that years of piano lessons really have paid off with this game. :) We each have started our own "band" - complete with catchy names -and are having fun "touring the country". Here's just a few photos of Jacob, including his "YOU ROCK" hand signals after successfully completing a song.

marcus got it too for christmas and it is tons of fun. we splurged on an extra guitar so two can play at once.
Surprise, it's new to me. So what are the band names? (Secretly, I would love to do "Dance, Dance Revolution")
Is there a snow day in your future?
I really wanted Dance, Dance revolution too. I figured it would be great exercise! My band is "Hot Mama", Jacob's is "Jake and the Boyz" and Chris' is "Junkyard Dogz". If we get the weather that is predicted, we will most likely have a snowday. Right now the prediction is 12-16 inches. We'll see how accurate they are!
Sounds like great fun! Speaking of music and exercise ... is anyone considering Zumba?

Don't know Zumba. But, it's Tues. a.m. and I'm home! Lots of blowing, not much snow, yet. If we get what is predicted, we'll be home tomorrow, too. That's ok. This is only day 3.
