One of my favorite things about the different seasons is the special recipes I have for each particular season. I get so excited to try them out again. This weekend Jenna and I made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins ...one of my favorite fall recipes. She loved helping and even cracked the eggs by herself (with limited egg shells falling into the batter). I took this picture while she was watching the mixer do the work. There's just something about it that I love! It's definitely one of my new favorite photos and I'm seriously considering blowing it up and framing it for our kitchen (I have photos in almost every other room of the house, why not add the kitchen, too!?!).

I think that's a very sweet photo and I agree that it would look great in your kitchen. By the way, what color is your mixer? I just wanted to have the right color in mind as I covet it =)
My mixer is silver (to match the stainless steel appliances I am slowly accumulating). It is truly one of my most prized possessions and has made baking so much more fun (and easy!). Chris surprised me with it a year ago for my birthday/Mother's Day. Our house has a special cabinet with a shelf that lifts up and locks into place at the counter height just for the mixer...so of course I had to have the mixer to go in the empty cupboard. :)
I love that photo! Definitely put it in your kitchen...maybe take pictures of the kids eating too from weird angles like that.
I also love love love your pumpkin chocolate chip muffin recipe and look forward to baking them annually!
I haven't had much time to bake lately which makes me sad.
That's a great photo...definitely frame it in the kitchen!
And I'm glad to hear you finally have the mixer to put on the mixer shelf!
Very cute. She looks so different in that photo for some reason. I never did get that recipe... please email!
Cute!! I think what makes her look different is her hair doesn't look that curly. Definitely hang up that pix, so she can have one without all the curls. Trust me on that.
Love the picture of GREAT niece Jenna!! I, too, would like your recipe. Haven`t ever sampled them.
