Photo-palooza Part 5

While Brenda and the kids were visiting, we spent several days at my parents. While we were there, we spent a day at my Uncle Sudsy and Aunt Nancy's house on Lake Erie. We love going to their house since they live right on the lake and have their own beach (of course we like visiting with them, too...we don't just love them for their beach!). My Grandma D, Aunt Barb, and cousin Lori also joined us at the beach. We had a great time relaxing on the beach while the kids swam, kayaked, played in the sand, and rode the jet ski (even my 90 year old Grandma rode the jet ski with my Dad! I just hope I can still do that at 90!!) . Later we had a cookout and then headed back down to the beach for a little more swim and sand time before heading back to Stow.

I took a billion beach photos...so I'll have to split them up into multiple posts...so be sure to check the posts that follow this one to see all our beach fun! THANKS AGAIN to Sudsy and Nancy for letting us invade your house and your beach. We had a GREAT time!!

Photo-palooza part 4

Yep...the photos just keep coming. I'm the nearing the end though!

These are Carsyn's 4 year photos. She wanted to have a Little Mermaid party this year and Brenda found her a cute sundress with a mermaid on it. We decided mermaid sundress photos taken at Uncle Sudsy and Aunt Nancy's beach on Lake Erie would be perfect! Carsyn was extra cooperative for her photos...so I just kept snapping away. I love the photos I got...they really show Carsyn's personality!

Happy 4th Birthday Carsyn!! We hope you have a fun time at your Little Mermaid party and wish we could be there to celebrate with you. We're so glad we got to have a "pretend birthday" with you while you were visiting (see photos below). Enjoy your special day!

Photo-palooza Part 3

Of course I had to take Brenda and the kids to "my alley" (okay...it's not really MY alley...but it is my favorite photo spot and some of my favorite photos are from the alley). Everyone was excited about alley photos - even Marcus, Jacob and Jenna wanted to get in on the action. So, we loaded up 5 kids into the van and headed to the alley. AND...now I have some new favorite alley photos! (check in tomorrow for Part 2 of the alley photos...I had too many favorites to share in one post!)

Photo-palooza Part 2

After the tea party, the girls were still in a good mood, so we headed for a different park near our house to take more photos. Brenda wanted photos of Payton...so we headed into the woods and started snapping!

Brenda, Marcus, Carsyn, and Payton have been visiting for the past week. We've had lots and lots of fun with them....and of course I've taken lots and lots of photos. I just got done editing them and burning them onto a CD for Brenda to take back to Texas with her tomorrow....and now I can finally share some with all of you. Be sure to check back often over the next few days because I have lots of photos to share. And now...let the PHOTO-PALOOZA begin!

These photos are something Brenda and I have been planning for a long time. I got so excited the first time I saw the butterfly house being built in the new children's garden in the park near our house. I just knew the bright pink house would be perfect for little girl photos. Brenda and I then got the brainstorm to take tea party photos in front of the house. So, on their first day here...we dressed the girls in their pretty pink and white dresses, loaded the table, chairs and tea set into the van, and headed to the park for photos. They turned out even cuter than I had imagined! I took a ton of photos during their tea party, but these are just some of our favorites.
