Time for a little baseball....

Baseball season has officially been underway for about 3 weeks now. This year Jacob moved up to little league and Chris is once again his coach. His team has won 3 of their first 4 games. Jacob has been playing shortstop, 2nd base and outfield and is beginning to hit the ball really well. Now if only we could get those little legs to run a little faster! He also made the tournament team again this year. They played in a tournament this weekend and won 3 of their 4 tournament games.

I have decided that baseball is truly one of my very favorite things to take photos of. I've already taken photos at two of his games and love how some of them have turned out. I made sure to take photos of all the boys on the team so I can post them on their team website. If you want to follow Jacob's team and check out their schedule, scores, and updated photos you can visit their team website here and the tournament team website here.
Because I have so many fun baseball photos of Jacob to share, I decided to make some collages instead of posting individual photos. Hopefully you can still see each of the photos okay. If not, I'll go back to posting regular photos next time.

Jill - That's just Jacob and his friend Gavin. They do some high five thing but at the end turn it into a turkey instead. Who knows? It's a 5th grade boy thing that I'm not about to try and figure out.

Michelle - I used picnik.com for the collages.

I really like the collage, and my favs are the ones intently listening to the coach. How long before Jacob wants contacts instead of wearing glasses while he plays?

He is already asking for contacts, so a visit to the eye doctor is on our list of things to do this summer. He hates that he can't wear sunglasses and that his glasses get in the way if he has to wear the catcher's mask.

I was just talking to someone last night about when Jacob was little and we were visiting. How on earth did he get so big???

These are really good. So glad we got to see him play in person and we are so surprised that they won the second game Sunday when the first one went so long and they were really tired. Congrats (a little late). MOM
