Day 2....continued

Our main reason for taking a trip to NYC was to watch a Yankees game. This is the last year for the current stadium, and we wanted to be sure to go to a game there before the new one was built. Chris and I toured the stadium when we went to NYC 5 years ago, but we had never been to a game in NY. It was hot, hot, hot the day of the game - especially in our bleacher seats. Luckily, our seats happened to be in the ONLY shaded section of the bleachers...but it was still way too hot! We got to see a great game...especially since the Yankees beat the Royals in the bottom of the 9th!

This photo deserved to be posted by itself instead of teeny tiny in the middle of a collage. :)

PS Sorry you can't click on the photo collages to see larger images. I have lots of photos I wanted to share and a collage seemed like the best way....but I can't figure out how to make them any bigger and still get them to upload on my blog.

Well, I can at least enjoy the pictures of your cute family...even if you are all decked out in Yankee gear. =)
I do have to say though, that your pictures are making me want to visit NYC, something I've never had a desire to do before! It looks like you guys had a great time!

These pictures are wonderful. And you don't look like you were hot, hot, hot. Maybe we can take a "cousins and aunts" trip sometime. MOM

Count me in! I especially like the family portrait at the game. Did you read my "instructions" for enlarging the pix? I went back and posted that on the previous one, but I suppose not everyone goes back to reread blogs. I knew the Yankees won, and I was glad for all of you, but I didn't realize it was a walk off. Did the grounds crew do the YMCA? Go Tribe!!

A girls trip would be great!
